STAR Youth Rally 2025 – A Turning Point in Faith
From 18–20 September 2025, the STAR Youth Rally gathered young people at the Minor Basilica of St. Anne for three unforgettable days of prayer, sessions, games, talents, and fellowship.
Faith-Filled Sessions
The rally was anchored by inspiring moments of teaching and testimony:
- Opening Session: Rahul Anna shared his story with honesty and courage, showing how faith carried him through struggles.
- Fr. Desmond spoke on Trusting in the Lord, reminding us that true strength comes through surrender.
- Deacon Dave delivered a powerful, joy-filled message on Living in Hope, teaching that hope means living each day in Christ.
- Youth Leaders closed the rally by urging everyone to carry the fire home and be leaders in faith.
Praise, Worship & Talents
Praise and worship lifted hearts, turning songs and chants into heartfelt prayers.
The Night of Talents featured Bible skits in a Malaysian setting by the four houses: Savio, Gonzaga, Carlo, and Frasati. Scripture came alive in creative and joyful ways.
Unity Through Games
The House Showdown added laughter and energy. Captain Ball, Caterpillar, and Rock Paper Scissors helped build teamwork, trust, and friendships that will last.
Personal Testimony
“At first, I thought the rally would be just another camp, maybe even boring. But I was wrong. These three days were unforgettable and life-changing. Being part of Team Savio gave me belonging and joy. The sessions touched my heart: Rahul Anna’s courage, Fr. Desmond’s wisdom, Deacon Dave’s passion, and the leaders’ encouragement gave me lessons I will never forget.
