Tamil Youth

The current Tamil youth group was reviewed in the year 2022 with the blessing of our parish priest Fr.Dominic, and we’ve continued ever since in the name of Jesus. Our team has organized many activities such as spiritual camps, praise and worship, fellowship nights, Pilgrimage, Rosary, Releasing Christian cover songs, Adoration, decoration, hiking, badminton tournaments, visiting sick youths & supporting other ministry and more.

Every month, we have our Tamil Youth Mass where our members bravely serve in choir, readings, and liturgy. We also have monthly online Bible sharing, which began during MCO and continues till now. Our youths are talented and growing spiritually.

One unique thing is our rotating leadership every two months, new leaders take charge, so everyone gets to learn and grow. Our ministry is guided by a dedicated core team: Imbert, Calvin, Angelina, Joel, Theresa, Rebecca, Elijah, and Clarance. Every month, the core team plans youth activities so stay tuned for exciting upcoming events!

One of our proudest moments was organizing the WAY MAKER camp, where we invited youths from churches around Penang. With zero experience but full faith we organized and successfully completed the event where 150 participants joined, it was truly guided by god.

Recently, we also started a Girls Bible Study, open to anyone interested. We’re here to encourage all youths to journey with Christ. You’re most welcome to join us for our upcoming programs!
