Formation Session For Altar Servers of NBVM/SCIC

A Formation Session was conducted for the three-language group altar servers (E/T/M) of NBVM/SCIC at the Conference Room, Nativity Centre, NBVM, on Sunday, 17 August 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The objective was to promote team-building among the altar servers, and the session was facilitated by Miss Florence. The altar servers were visibly excited as they waited in anticipation for the program to begin.

The session started with a brief time of praise and worship led by the Altar Servers’ Co-ordinator. Miss Florence then set the tone by reminding the altar servers that their ministry is special, as they help the priest lead the people in worship during the Holy Mass.

This was followed by a game called the “Tower Building Challenge,” aimed at encouraging teamwork in building the tallest free-standing structure using simple materials.

Next, the altar servers enthusiastically moved to the basement car park to play “Scoop the Marbles,” where the goal was to scoop as many marbles as possible using whatever means available.
