This year in the absence of rituals, prayer services, and Masses that usually mark this week, we are invited to meaningfully participate in this important event with our families at homes. Download a copy of the guide.

Couldn’t the palms be ‘virtually blessed’ when one follow the online Palm Sunday Mass? Well, when one follow an online Mass, the priest would bless those following the Mass at the end of the Mass and we do the sign of the Cross. Or Priests in all parishes could have Holy Palms blessed for collection after the madness of the coronavirus lockdown ends. We are in strange times so I believe priests/the Church should think outside of the box. I think as Catholics we need a blessed Palm even more now with the coronavirus pandemic as the Blessed Palm is a sign of victory.

Hi John, thank you for your comment. Palms can be blessed by the Priests once the MCO is lifted.
