Senior Citizens Ministry Charity Outreach
On 20 December 2025, our Senior Citizens Ministry carried out a meaningful outreach to Pusat Kebajikan Hati Sepati, a home for the less fortunate. Led by Stephen Francis, this outreach was a simple act of love that reflected the heart of our church community.
This charity drive was carried out in three stages, responding to real and practical needs.
- On 14 November 2025, RM3,610.00 was given to help settle part of the electricity bill.
- On 24 November 2025, a further RM1,813.00 was contributed towards the remaining TNB charges.
- On 20 December 2025, RM490.00 was used to provide food, groceries, and pizza for tea for the residents.
In total, RM5,913.00 was raised through the generosity of our senior citizens. These funds helped support the daily needs of 27 inmates, easing their financial burden and reminding them that they are not forgotten.
The most memorable moment of the outreach was the joy on the faces of the residents. Their smiles, laughter, and quiet gratitude spoke louder than words. It was a reminder that kindness, when given freely, brings dignity and hope.
This outreach reflects our church’s mission to serve with compassion, especially to those on the margins of society. It also showed the strength of unity within our senior citizens community, who came together with one heart and purpose. Everything was made possible by God’s providence and the willing hands of His people.
Looking ahead, the ministry hopes to continue building this relationship through a Spiritual Gotong Royong, where faith, fellowship, and service come together in a deeper way.
We thank everyone who contributed, prayed, and supported this outreach. May this be a reminder that no act of love is ever too small when it is offered to God. (Senior Citizens Ministry)
