Senior Citizens Ministry Outreach to Pusat Kebajikan Hati Sepati
On 14 November 2025, the Senior Citizens Ministry made another meaningful visit, reaching out to Pusat Kebajikan Hati Sepati, a non profit welfare centre that cares for children with special needs. The home began in 2020 and continues to depend on the kindness of others to meet its daily needs. What started as a small call for help quickly became a powerful act of love. In just four days, the ministry and our parish community raised RM3,610, enough to settle the centre’s overdue TNB bill, which had grown so large that their electricity was at risk of being cut off.
The most moving part of the afternoon was seeing how a simple act of giving brought light, both literally and emotionally, to the children and caretakers. Their smiles, shy laughter, and warm welcome reminded everyone present why outreach matters. It connects us, humbles us, and helps us see Christ in one another.
This visit also strengthened our parish mission to care for those who are often forgotten. Through our senior citizens, we stood with a home that continues to serve with great love despite many challenges.
Looking ahead, the ministry is preparing for a Pre Advent Steamboat Get Together, a time for fellowship and thanksgiving as we journey toward the season of hope. (Senior Citizens Ministry)
