The Book of Judith Like You’ve Never Seen It Before

Think the Bible is boring? The Book of Judith might change your mind.

It has an invading army, a city on the brink of surrender, fear, courage, deception, faith, and an unlikely heroine who walks straight into the enemy camp.

Our parishioner, Thomas Yoon, has brought this remarkable story to life by compiling a series of AI-generated images into a visual retelling of the Book of Judith, inviting us not just to read the story, but to see it unfold.

And Judith is only one of many extraordinary stories waiting for us in Scripture.

Sometimes the Bible simply asks us to slow down, read, and imagine ourselves there. To see the faces. Feel the fear. Hear the conversations. And perhaps, somewhere in the story, discover that God has something to say to us too.
