Experiencing God’s Goodness through Praise and Worship

On 14 June, the Form 3 students led the Praise and Worship session under the leadership of Joshua Robert for the secondary students. Prior to the session, the team gathered for a preparation meeting to deepen their understanding of the meaning of praise and worship.

They reflected that praise is an outward expression of gratitude to God. It is joyful, vibrant, and active, often accompanied by singing, clapping, and gestures that proclaim God’s goodness. Worship,  on the other hand, is a deeper response of the heart, where we immerse ourselves in God’s presence and contemplate His nature. It is more reflective, solemn, and intimate, drawing us into a closer relationship with Him.

This preparation enabled the students to lead the congregation with greater understanding and sincerity, creating a meaningful encounter with God through both joyful praise and heartfelt worship. (SR)
