Catechism Movie Day
The Nativity Centre Auditorium was filled with smiles, laughter and excitement as our catechism children gathered for a special screening of David. From the very first scene, there were delighted gasps, cheerful laughter and little “Awww…” moments. The songs had the children completely captivated, their eyes glued to the screen from beginning to end. And as the credits rolled, the auditorium erupted in applause. It was a heartwarming sight to witness.
More than just a movie, David shared a beautiful message of faith, courage and trusting in God’s plan, reminding us that He can do extraordinary things through ordinary people.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated catechism teachers for organising such a meaningful event. From transforming the auditorium into a cosy movie venue to preparing popcorn and drinks for everyone, every thoughtful detail helped create a memorable experience for our children.
We hope this will be the first of many such gatherings. Moments like these do more than entertain. They help our children grow in faith, strengthen friendships and remind them that church is also a place of joy, belonging and cherished memories. (BV)
