Praising God with Parish Assembly 2020
About 81 parishioners attended the Parish Assembly 2020 on 9 February from 4 pm to 7 pm. The meeting began with Praise and Worship followed by Fr. Dom’s address. Fr. Dom, the parish priest said that the purpose of the assembly was to praise God (Ep1:3-14). He added that the parishioners have been a blessing to both him and Fr. Louis and urged them to be ministers of Christ on a mission and a blessing to all. He shared that the parishioners have been helpful, wonderful and generous in sharing gifts, talents, time, and finance. Their humility and generosity is evident in the success of raising the Parish Pastoral Building fund from RM1 million to 4.6 million. The parishioners’ dream of the Nativity Pastoral Centre has become his dream too. He thanked the Parish Building Committee and has taken it as his mission to complete it.
As for the Parish Admin, his mission is to create a friendly and open environment with motivated staff that attract people to the parish. In line with the digital transformation taking place, he intends to take advantage of the digital applications available through the website for documentation that will save time for parishioners.

UPDATE ON THE PARISH PASTORAL BUILDING
At the moment it is 67 percent complete and expected to be ready August 2020.
Budget Allocation by Finance Committee represented by Brian
Fr. Dom added that for greater transparency, there is a form for budget request and budget settlement to be filled when requesting fund from the allocation.
Q&A SESSION
During the Q&A, Fr. Dom commented that catechism class is an essential education for growth and understanding of the faith in the young. It has come to his knowledge that many who do not attend classes automatically promote themselves to the next level. As such, parents and students will have to sign a written commitment to dutifully fulfill and comply with 80 percent attendance to ascend to the next level.
