Helping Those In Need

There is a Chinese saying that goes: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.” For centuries, the greatest thinkers have suggested the same thing: Happiness is found in helping others.

In the last few weeks, the parish has been going the extra mile to help fellow parishioners as well as complete strangers who are in need. Through the generosity of donors, RM18,750 was raised and through the kindness of volunteers, these funds were distributed in the form of:

• Medical aid
• School aid
• Rations

We thank everyone who contributed and invite others to be part of this effort. It’s a beautiful thing to see followers of Jesus come together to help those less fortunate.
