To Everything There is a Season- Thank You Bro. Bonny

There is a season for everything under the sun: a time to welcome and a time to bid farewell. The one-year stint at our parish has come to an end, and it is time to bid farewell to Bro. Boniface, who has wonderfully served at our parish. He arrived on 15 January 2024, and his term ended on 15 January 2025. Bro. Boniface, who is from Sarawak, will continue his studies at St. Peter’s College Major Seminary in Kuching.

His gentle yet firm nature captured the hearts of the parishioners, and the memories of him will forever be etched in our hearts.

Fr. Dom, in his speech, commended Bro. Bonny for his humility. Bro. Bonny exhibited humility in everything he did and was a joy to be around. He was an excellent listener and a good companion

In his parting speech, Bro. Bonny confessed that he was not initially keen on coming to Butterworth and was instead eager to do his pastoral work in KL. However, looking back on his experience at NBVM/SCIC, he expressed happiness that he came to Butterworth. He said, “God knows what is good for us. Trust Him always.” He has made many friends and learned a great deal. He will always treasure the memories made here.
