Senior Citizens Celebrate Chap Goh Meh with Joy
On 12 February 2025, our senior citizens gathered for a delightful Chap Goh Meh luncheon at Chao Zhou Teo Chew Restaurant. Over a sumptuous nine-course meal, twenty of our beloved seniors came together to mark the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
The meal included a lively loh sang, with everyone tossing the ingredients while sharing good wishes for the year ahead. The highlight of the afternoon was the spontaneous singing of Hokkien songs as everyone enjoyed their food. Laughter and conversation filled the room, making it a truly heart-warming time of fellowship.
Beyond the festive cheer, the luncheon served as a reminder of the importance of community and togetherness, bringing our seniors closer in faith and friendship. As we move forward in the year, our seniors are setting their sights on regular exercise and healthy living, ensuring that their gatherings continue to be filled with energy and joy.
We thank everyone who made this event possible and look forward to more meaningful moments together! (Senior Citizens Ministry)
