A Heartfelt Outreach by Our Seniors

On 22nd December 2024, the Senior Citizens Ministry hosted a special fundraising outreach programme at our Nativity Centre. The initiative aimed to share the joy of Christmas by supporting those in need within and beyond our community.

Thanks to the generosity of our seniors, 46 hampers filled with essentials and treats were distributed to recipients, including 18 NBVM parishioners, 20 homeless individuals, 5 members of the Rohingya community, and 3 others. It was heart-warming to see the gratitude and happiness on the faces of the recipients.

This outreach effort reflects the true spirit of Christmas, reminding us all of the importance of giving and caring for others. By coming together, we were able to make a meaningful difference and demonstrate the love of Christ in action.

There is strong interest in making this a yearly tradition to continue reaching out to the needy during the festive season. The Senior Citizens Ministry extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed and participated in this successful event. (Senior Citizens Ministry)
