Christmas Marketplace 2022
The Christmas Marketplace was held on the 11th and 18th of December from 8.15am to 1.00pm at the Nativity Hall to encourage and promote NBVM entrepreneurs especially during the season of Christmas. More than 20 stalls were operating at the Christmas Marketplace selling various items such as cakes, cookies, homemade wine, arts & craft, Christmas decorations, scented candles, clothes and books.
Other stalls provided services such as music & entertainment, event planning, face painting, insurance schemes and pilgrimage tours. To brighten up the mood, there were also game stalls and a live band during the first week. Meanwhile, in the second week, Christmas carols were sung. Fr. Dom and a group of senior citizens also participated in singing on stage.
During the second week of the event, the catechism children received Christmas gifts and finally towards the end, there was a lucky draw held. All those who purchased above RM20 were entitled to a lucky draw voucher and 12 lucky winners walked away with exciting prizes!
The Christmas Marketplace was truly a joyful and lively event and certainly helped in awakening the Christmas spirit in everyone.
